Wolverhampton Wanderers >>

Reading are one of Wolves' bogey teams. As long ago as 1978, Reading, then in the old fourth division, put first division Wolves out of the League Cup in one of their greatest giant-killing acts. However it was only when former Reading manager Mark McGhee took over at Wolves that things started to become personal, with Reading coming out on top in a series of passionate, dramatic games. Wolves gained a measure of revenge in 2003 by knocking Reading out in the play-off semi-finals.
